For over 20 years, we have been helping our customers renovate their homes to improve their quality of life. 


We believe in restoring faith in the lives of our customers and neighbors that transparency, integrity, craftsmanship and care can all coexist in the remodeling industry.


We serve Chattanooga, TN and the surrounding cities: Hixson, Signal Mountain, Elder Mountain, Soddy Daisy, East Brainerd, Harrison, Ooltewah, Collegedale, Lookout Mountain, Ringgold.

Project Team

Jon Brewer, President

Jon started J Brewer and Associates in 1997 and has over 40 years of combined experience in the remodeling industry. While the company has grown, Jon still enjoys being hands on with certain projects from time to time.

He and his wife, Catherine, share 6 great kids and 8 grandkids, and enjoy many outdoor activities together including; camping, fly fishing, hiking, etc.

Billy Stockwell, Operations/Senior Project Manager

Billy has been in the construction industry for 20+ years, and been apart of our team since 2015. Billy has s degree in Computer Science with a Minor in Structural Engineering through the United States Navy. When Billy is not at work, he enjoys activities such as making furniture and building things with his hands, as well as spending time with his family.

Spencer Lyman, Project Manager

Spencer Lyman started working with the JBA team in 2016. Starting out as a carpenter, his skills led him into the office in a project management position. When Spencer is not working he is enjoying family life with his wife, Jennifer, and two kids, Connor and Abby.

Office Team

Alice Steele, Financial Coordinator

Alice has been apart of our team since 2012. With a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Alice coordinates the finances for each project and the company. When Alice isn’t working you can find her spending time outdoors with her husband and four children.

Catherine Brewer, Treasurer

Catherine has intermittently helped in our office over the years, but has more recently stepped in to help with bookkeeping on a consistent basis. Catherine is a retired physical therapist and enjoys traveling with her husband Jon and spending time with their kids and grandkids. 

Jill Dolberry, Office Coordinator

Jill has been apart of our team since 2014. Jill started with the company in a marketing capacity, and has since evolved into coordinating multiple office responsibilities including human resources, marketing, and customer care. When Jill isn't at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son.
